My name is Leslie Adamson. I’m a wife, a mother, and a grandmother, and I’ve been married for over thirty years.
Before entering ministry, I worked as a traumatic brain injury rehabilitation therapist. That work showed me how deeply injury and stress affect a person’s whole life—but also how wonderfully and beautifully God has made each of us. The human brain alone is truly awe-inspiring, and it deepened my reverence for our Creator.
Later, as a veteran Catholic home educator and parish ministry leader, I met faithful people who loved God and served generously—but who, like so many of us, struggled to let themselves be loved by Him. I saw sincere believers trying to earn God’s love through performance, perfection, or productivity, rather than resting in their true worth as His beloved sons and daughters.
Out of that journey came Trinity Anchored Formation—a Catholic formation path rooted in Sacred Scripture, the Catechism, and the sacramental life of the Church.
MY FORMATION & MISSION
I’m the founder of Trinity Anchored Formation, LLC, a Certified Metanoia Catholic Coach, a marriage preventative care coach, a temperament-informed, color-coded personality specialist, and an accredited Charisms Discernment guide.
The heart of my work is helping people heal the places where faith, trauma aka hidden wounds, unresolved grief, and interpersonal neurobiology intersect—especially where sincere believers love God deeply, yet still feel fragmented, shut down, anxious, overwhelmed, or stuck in their vocations and missions.
As a redeemed Adult Third Culture Kid and immensely grateful Catholic convert, my lived experiences have become the compass that guides my mission. Every layer of my story fuels my desire to help others heal the hidden wounds that have fractured their God-given identity and to cultivate wholehearted, Christ-centered relationships—so they may live the two greatest commandments with freedom and integrity.
“You shall love the Lord your God… and your neighbor as yourself.”
— Mark 12:30–31
WHY FORMATION MATTERS
Trinity Anchored Formation is rooted in the belief that Jesus’ invitation to “become like a child” is not sentimental or simplistic—it is profoundly healing.
True childlike faith restores trust, receptivity, humility, innocence, and dependence on God. It reorders the heart.
My primary work now lives in formation, teaching, and coaching, allowing me to serve more Christians with greater flexibility—especially those who may not need or want therapy, but who are seeking deep healing and spiritual growth within the life of the Church.
This approach addresses internal fragmentation shaped by trauma, unresolved grief, interpersonal wounds—including insecure attachment with God—as well as the impacts of culture and sin.
“Trauma is the Greek word for ‘wound.’ It often occurs when love is withheld, distorted, or withdrawn. It is anything that takes us from resting in God’s peace to our fight, flight, flee, and fawn survival reactions. Our hidden wounds live not only in our memories, but our nervous system, our relationship, our unprocessed early-life experiences, and often our understanding of God and ourselves.
Healing begins when love is restored—first through God, then within ourselves, and finally within our relationships.
Healing reaches fruition when we are able to respond rather than react to past and present circumstances, situations, and interactions in our lives—especially those we did not choose, cannot fully understand, do not like, and cannot change. This ongoing healing journey is fulfilled when our “God-holes”—our crosses of suffering—are transformed into glorified wounds, and we are take these sacrifices of love and offer them for the conversion of souls and sinners.
A CATHOLIC ANTHROPOLOGY OF HEALING
For as long as I can remember, I’ve been captivated by the inner workings of the human person.
I’ve seen firsthand—both in myself and in those I accompany—that when a person begins to understand and accept themselves in an ordered, grace-aligned way, without slipping into self-reliance, self-condemnation, self-idolization, or other disordered forms of self-focus, something sacred unfolds.
Freedom awakens.
The heart softens.
Identity clarifies.
And in that clarity, people become able to:
What makes this approach distinct is its foundation in Catholic anthropology and the biblical understanding of the Imago Dei.
Rather than centering the self as the ultimate authority, healing unfolds through prayer, sacramental life, spiritual formation, and the gentle leadership of the Holy Spirit—restoring unity within the person while remaining firmly rooted in Christ.
As St. Irenaeus proclaimed:
“The glory of God is man fully alive.”
A JOURNEY OF TRANSFORMATION
“Formation isn’t just information—it’s transformation.”
This is the journey I now accompany others on—so they, too, may rediscover:
Who they are.
Whose they are.
And why they are here.
Not through striving.
Not through self-reliance.
But through grace, truth, healing, and communion with the Most Holy Trinity.
If you are longing for deeper integration, interior freedom, and wholehearted faith, welcome.
